BaoBei Kitchen is a personal recipe management app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

All data you create in BaoBei Kitchen — including recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, photos, and cook logs — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

BaoBei Kitchen uses Google Firebase for crash reporting (Crashlytics) and basic usage analytics. This helps us identify and fix bugs, and understand which features are being used so we can improve the app.

Data collected by Firebase includes:

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you. We do not link analytics data to any personal identity. Firebase data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Firebase privacy policy.

No other third-party services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools are used.

Data Sharing

Your data is only shared when you explicitly initiate sharing through iOS features such as the Share Sheet or Apple Reminders export. The app never shares data automatically or in the background.

Data Deletion

You can delete any recipe, meal plan, grocery item, or cook log at any time within the app. Deleting the app from your device removes all associated data permanently.

Children's Privacy

BaoBei Kitchen does not knowingly collect data from children. The app does not collect data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
